Most of these pencil drawings came from stuff on the ground although I drew the Ottawa river working on days when the heat or humidity made it too hard to paint.  The cricket was found waiting at my doorstep as if she wanted to be let in. Like the apples of 2018, I often chose objects that can be overlooked.
